Nordic Wedding Music is a collective of creative people. With music and visual art we want to share the beauty of nordic culture, inspired and rooted in wedding traditions and taken to modern audience in a colorful performance and a song-book.

We have proudly started to book concerts for 2011. Our music has a wide span between the vivid, joyful and fast songs of celebration, and on the other hand the nordic cerene beauty of hymns and lovesongs. Passionate music based in generations of knowledge about life’s most inportand rites. Eva has gathered the nordic weddingsongs during many years. She’s a singer who works in the field of folk music. In this project jazz musicians Mikael and Mats joined to catch the improvisational spirit found in folk music. We are creating a colourful revival of the old songs, drawing on inspiration from the tradition and adding contemporary elements as we see the living tradition. In the borderland between dream and reality.
